With its all al-fresco concept that spills out of the Fullerton Waterboat House into the space under Eplanade Bridge, SOL Tasca is a waterfront tapas bar that will make you feel like you’re basking on the harbours of Barcelona and Valencia. Diners have a choice of two types of al-fresco dining in this special 4,000 sq m establishment: on the upper deck of the bar to watch the chefs at work in the open kitchen, or on the wide, comfortable sofas below the bridge for people-watching. Both enjoy breezy water views and the pleasant music of live Spanish acts.
With a name meaning “Sun”, this tapas bar conjures up all that is bright, lively and cheerful, and is a perfect escape from the urban jungle. It offers over 30 varieties of hot and cold tapas made with quality Spanish ingredients, and a selection of Spanish wines, beers, cocktails and of course, sangria. Indeed, plates like the Jamon Manchego Pimento on Toast and the Boquerones with Potato taste like they’re full of sun-ripened goodness.
